“What if we just dance?”(2019-2020)/Young audiences
What happens when people come together? How do they interact? How do they relate to each other? How do they meet? And what's the position of dance and music among all these? The performance "what if we just dance?" sets these questions on stage, exploring the possibilities of these meetings and their possible dynamics. Four dancers create the conditions of this "together", as they synchronize and disrupt themselves, come close to each other, support and abandon one another, balance between fragile formations and divide in smaller groups.
These actions, that are mainly physical, don't deny the idea of a mood, a sentiment or a story. The boy or the girl we see on stage could be a couple standing for a little while away from the others or simply two dancers experimenting; while the lifts and the handstands could be at the same time appearance of dance technique between balance and suspension that make us fly together with them or traces of scenes that remind us of our lives (Maybe friends supporting each other?)
Both coexist here, stories and dance and it's up to everyone of us to choose what he or she wants to meet. Choose whether he or she will be charmed, if he or she will be moved or even if he or she will be filled with questions.
Just come close and stand in this game that searches through dancing, what will happen -what if- or maybe what happens when we come together.
